By accessing visweets.ca, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of our website and the purchase of handcrafted freeze-dried goods produced in the Comox Valley, BC.

1. Food Safety & Handcrafted Nature

• Allergy Warning: All products are processed in a facility that handles dairy, soy, nuts, and gluten. Cross-contamination is possible.
• Handcrafted Variability: Due to the scientific nature of the freeze-drying process, batch weights, colors, and textures may vary slightly between orders.
• Proper Storage: To maintain the "crunch" and food safety, products must remain sealed in their original moisture-barrier packaging in a cool, dry environment.

2. Shipping & Carrier Liability

While we take extreme care in packaging your treats to prevent breakage, freeze-dried items are inherently fragile. Once a package is handed to the carrier (Canada Post/UPS), VI Sweets is no longer liable for shipping delays or rough handling.

3. Returns & Refunds

In accordance with BC Health & Safety Regulations, we cannot accept returns on food products once they have left our facility. If your order is significantly damaged due to packaging failure, please contact us within 48 hours.

4. Payments & Billing

• E-Transfers: For manual payments, orders will not be processed or dispatched until the E-Transfer has been successfully deposited into our account.
• Currency: All prices listed are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• Order Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel any order if we suspect fraudulent activity or if product availability changes.

5. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any legal action regarding these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of British Columbia.
